does anyone have a hard drive that is connected to a router?

I am thinking about converting an extra internal hard drive that I have to an external hard drive which I would like to connect to a router.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

I am not familiar with the specific product.

It is an Enclosure and NAS in one Box.

On the positive side, you have to deal only with one physical box.

However, it can work only with one drive, while the stand-alone NAS can be plugged with two drives.

It supports SMB, so you would have to learn how to use SMB and Windows.

Will either of these support plug-n-play? It seems like the hard drive many need to be reformatted in order for it to work with either Box.
