Does anyone have a GTX 460 that doesn't display until in Windows?

I need to change back to non-AHCI, and into XP, but I can't because my Asus GTX460 768 MB (reference cooler and clocks) doesn't show an image until it's in Windows. So even if I held delete during POST, I still couldn't see what's going on in my BIOS. Has anyone else here had this issue? I have an M4N72-E mb.

I saw someone on an Asus forum had the same issue, except only he was using the predecessor to my mb (M3N72-D). No one has replied to his/her thread as of yesterday.

I really want to revisit Rayman 2 and 7 x64 won't run it, so I need some help here.

The only time that ever happend to me was with an Asus nV 750 SLI board. When X38 came out, I swapped boards, all other components the same, no problems. One too many BSODs on that 750 board.. the issue ur describing was the poo flavored icing on the cake.

Sorry, doens't help much. Get rid of the nV chipset? :)

if there is another dvi or vga port on the card i would try switching the cable onto the other port.

I guess that's the only thing I could think of right now. But other than that I've loved my mb so far. The only BSOD I've had was when I tried to get into XP with AHCI on and that's normal.

I don't know why nvidia mb chipsets have a problem with an nv video card.

Anyway, there is no way I can try VGA, and an HDMI TV I was using would show me the BIOS, but I don't have access to that TV anymore, and even if I did, I don't have room for 2 monitors on my desk.
