Does anyone have a great resume format?

My current format has too much white space, so I'm looking to upgrade to a better one. After all, after the cover letter, the resume is the most important thing to a job. Hopefully, some of you can share your resume formats, especially those who have recently graduated.

I'm going to be applying for investment banking positions, so if anyone work in that field, any advice would be much appreciated.

p.s. I live in Australia so we have our grad applications at a different to date to you Americans!

Is it a blank check with your signature on it?
