Does anyone have a FedEx account?

I'm considering getting one because I need a few things shipped my way and the only way to get it in a day is doing it this way. Don't give me advice about this (why not just pay for them to send it overnight? No, I can't.)- it is the ONLY way to get it to me in a day is to do it this way!

Anyway, do you have a FedEx account? I would get the personal one obviously. Is it free to sign up? When the package gets shipped with your account, does it just automatically charge the credit card that you gave when you signed up?

The FedEx online is pretty neat and it is free. All packages are charged to your credit card and you get a small discount if you have an AmEx Corporate. The label prints right from your printer with barcodes and everything. Slip it into the puouch and you;re all set. Only thing is you have to leave it at a dropbox. The last time I used it was over a year ago so things may have changed.

I need to get something shipped to me and I can get it shipped overnight by providing the company with a FedEx account number. I fill out all my shipping, give them the account number, and then they would ship the package overnight using my account.

Yes, u can SEND and RECEIVE (just give yr acct # to the sender) packages using your account number and they will automatically charge your CC. I have account with them and I think it is a neat service.
