Does anyone have a blur problem with KDS AV-195TF?

I just received AV-195TF from Onvia.com.
I'm extreamly satisfied with this monitor except a blur problem.
In 1280x1024@85hz resolution, both sides of the monitor are blurry. Right side are acceptable because it's not much. But left side is totally blurry even though I tried to fix this problem for an hour.
Does your AV-195TF have the same problem?
I think I received defective one.
(I use 3dfx Voodoo3 2000.)

In addition, when I received the monitor, one side of the box was broken as much as I can put my hand in there. And there was no bonus disk(color matching software, internet phone software, game software). I think somebody broke the box to take the software CD (or floppy disks).
 
muhahaha ehehehe, had to get the laughs out 1st, i had a monitor shipped like that to me one time, it was like over 12" long cut on the side where i could stick my hand through, I once had a kds av-195tf, made a big buzzing noise everytime i turned it on, the picure always shifted to the right alittle everytime & would come back to the left after being on for awhile, the center of the text was much sharper than the corners & it was very hard for me to read the word "start" on the start button because the left side corners were blurrer than the right, are these signs of a high quality product? yes...NO! I went for a "15 to trying over 6 "19 monitors & in the end I got a $359 "17, expensive? yes, sharp? yes, from corner to corner, geometry problems? no, straight from edge to edge, any problems? yes, a minor redish tint on one corner when i 1st turn on the monitor but it goes away, are kds monitors good just because they used trinitron tubes? are old people as good drivers as young people just because they drive the same car? if you say yes, then your current monitor has no problems.
 
I might have the monitor that you returned, RayEarth.

I tried the convergence control to fix it, but it didn't work.
The center portion is very good, but left side is bad.

But if this problme is normal, why many people in this forum praise Av-195TF? I really don't understand it.
 
The convergence is a tron monitor problem. You cant make it perfect. With alot of tweaking you can make it very good but not "Perfect".
