Does anyone hate their state welfare program?

Okay... over the past 4 years now, I have grown to hate Michigan's state welfare program (food stamps and WIC). This has grown ever since I started working at the grocery store I'm at. After seeing many people come through the lines, you can almost guess who's abusing the programs. I cannot say I can single out one specific group because there are a couple different ones that abuse the system. There's this one family that I know owns a party store who always is purchasing sale items with their food stamp card. The part that irritates me is that they're probably here illegally, they resell products they got for free, and living a decent life compared to the people who actually have to work for what they have. Anyone else seeing this too?

Hates it with a passion. If I decided to help someone, it will be in my own choosing, and definitely not for some lazy woman who kept churning out kids to get more welfare $$$.
