I'm been lookin' for a DDR 333 chipset for either AMD or intel.
But i cant wait to get a DDR 400 chipset.which is more worth it

and does anybody have an idea when DDR 400 chipset are to be released?🙂

 
I would not put any bets on there ever being DDR400. DDR yields are really reaching their limits, and I would not expect to go above DDR333. I know SiS has announced a P4 I think it was chipset that supported DDR400, but I would not bet on there ever being DDR400. DDR-II here we come!
 
ya, by the time there is another die shrink to .1 or .09 DDR II will be out, making DDR 400 quite useless.
 
I haven't heard much about DDR II. It may be time to move to RDRAM from Rambus. SIS has just licensed the technology from Rambus. Has anyone heard if future Athlons will be supporting this type of memory? The price has fallen quite a bit - although not in the DDR price range.
 
future athlons will probably support DDRII, I'm sure if someone wanted to make a chipset for rambus and the athlon, it would work, but nobody will because they don't want to waste their time.

SiS and ALi DDR 333 chipsets absolutely suck, both get higher benchmarks running DDR 266
