Does anyone go to Syracuse University?

I applied and was accepted to the grad program at Syracuse. Still haven't pursued it yet though. Pointless information, but the word Syracuse reminded me of this.

Well my gf just got offered a position in Syracuse. I would like to find a software development position in that area. My school (RIT) only has listings for the Rochester area.

If someone has a login for Syracuse's career services I could use, or if they could PM me any companies/jobs for CS majors I would appreciate it. :)

I'm not sure someone would do that though.

Lockheed is hiring many engineers right now, and will continue to as long as the govt. keeps pumping money into defense spending.

Syracuse and onondaga county isn't a place people want to move into.

I actually interviewed at Lockheed last Thursday. I liked it alot. I'm really anxious and waiting to hear back from them. It would be the best day of my life if I get an offer from them.

You might want to check out Sensis as well. I know they employ alot of former Lockheed engineers.

Yah, we just opened a Boston satellite office because we couldn't talk enough people into moving here. :p

Upstate would be great if we could get rid of NYC. They freakin' kill this state.

I co-oped there for nine months. I'd rather work at Lockheed though. I'm going to email some people there if I get turned down.

Until you move to syracuse and realize how much it sucks. Though that all depends on where you're moving from. Where abouts are you now?

Right now it's Canandaigua/Rochester. I didn't mind Syracuse, but I am not too familiar with the area. I don't mind the winter that much.

I can't imagine why someone would want to pump so much money into carousel center.

It's located on one of the most terribly polluted lakes around, in a city that is in constant economic reeling.
Do they expect people to come from far and wide to go to the worlds largest mall?

Personally, I really like Syracuse. We have Dinosaur BBQ. :)
