Does anyone find that racist jokes are usually the funniest?

I dont know about you, but I do. Maybe its because they are taboo or something. Maybe its the PC backlash...


Anyway, I have this half indian, half african friend and he has fresh material everyday. Whites, blacks, browns, jews, hispanics -- they're all on his list and dammit he's funny. As he likes to say, "I'm not racist, I'm equally bigotted towards all races!!!" LOL!!

Anyway, I won't repeat any of his jokes here (for obvious reasons, I hope you won't either), but does anyone else share these sentiments?

I tend to find dirty sex jokes to be the funniest. I haven't heard too many racist jokes so I guess I don't really count for anything

I think the more taboo a joke is, the funnier it tends to be, only because we shouldn't be laughing at it. And that feels pretty damned good. I love when my ethnicity (polish) is being made fun of, by the way.

Archie Bunker makes the exceptioin though because he's just so funny, allow me to quote a conversation he had with Lionel (the young black guy):

I'm a white male, aged 18-50 (somehow that makes me the majority... ?), and I enjoy telling/hearing racist/sexist jokes too. I have friends of most races and both sexes, and wouldn't consider myself racist or sexist at all. Honestly, they're good for a laugh, and I don't think there's any harm in them if that's all they're for. I tell jokes about everything from white guys to black girls and everything in between. No big deal really, but sometimes you really have to watch who you tell them around, just to be safe.

Sadly, I think you're right...I don't recall any major white comedians doing that....its always minority ones that make the racist ones.
