Does anyone ever buy anything out of Amazon's Gold Box

I looked through mine today and it was something like a rake and a leaf blower and other things. If they would put electronics or something in there, I might be more willing to buy. I realize they would have to do a discount and that would lower their profit, but I would be buying on impulse so they still win. Has anyone here ever bought anything out of there?

I picked up a digital tire pressure gauge, other than that there has been nothing inspiring.

I got two decent offers today. A Microsoft cordless keyboard/mouse combo for 50 dollars and an Aphex DVD player for 75.

Just browse through more electronics/computer stuffs and your goldbox offers will be selected accordingly. RossMan can tell ya about the digicam offer(s) that have come through.

I'm relieved I am not the only one getting a lot of hammers, frying pans, and "pancake compressors." I have tried shopping the other areas and even adding items to my shopping cart, but it still stinks.

I bought the Memento LE DVD set for something like $10, but that's after getting three months of kitchen, lawn, and tool offers that I wasn't interested in.

I've bought over $800 worth of stuff from Amazon. I always buy CDs, DVDs, consumer electronics and computer peripherals. I just discovered my gold box yesterday and what did i find inside???? KITCHENWARE!!! Gee thanks Amazon, way to work it with the geek crowd. I guess they just assume we don't have girlfriend's/wives buying this sh*t for us so they'll attempt to sell the geeks on Internet-bought kitchenware.

The one item I WAS interested in was some drink mixer thingy and that just HAPPENED to be sold out!!!

Goldboxes are useless...

EDIT: OMG score!!! I just checked it today and after passing over some DeWalt power tools and 'Kitty Magic' (???) I got an offer for $30 off a Brother HL-1440 laser printer! I won't buy it...but its better than kitchenware!!!
