Whenever i am running any theme other than a windows default or royale, something someone else created, my system is noticably slower....

I never really realized it, until i just went back to royale, and noticed how much faster my laptop feels now.... sure enough, i switched to one i downloaded and the whole system is slow again....

anyone else notice this?

I use windowblinds on my laptop. It's proven to be as fast as if not faster than window's own uxtheme.

I use a patched uxtheme.dll file, and there's no difference when using, for instance, Code Opus theme.

Same, only slowness is in changing themes, but general usage is fine
