I bought a stainless / gold Rolex Submariner at a pawnshop in Vegas several years back. Some poor sap lost all his money. I was there for a week and the first time I looked at it, it was priced at $8500. After a few days and a few visits, I got it for $4200, the day we flew out. :)

You can negotiate in pawnshops. Of course they are going to price you high to start.
