they fined Wenger for expressing his opinion on the UEFA quarterfinals! how fascist is that? also, they fined Patrick Vieira for saying that they were racist! Can't they just listen to an opinion and not try to be all fascist and whatnot and take money from people?

Hell, they'll probably find this thread and fine me.. gah!
 
I should try to support Wenger and Vieira, but I've been quite ok with UEFA so far overall. They seem to do a pretty decent job against racism in European football and for fining, they usually have pretty good reasons such as the rules of conducts that all managers of European football clubs must abide by. Fergi was recently fined for similar reasons as well.

Unless their opinions or criticisms were urgent matters or were required to be publicized, they were probably better to be expressed in private directly with UEFA. Any links about what he was fined for? I recall that Wenger asked UEFA to look into racism among Valencia fans in the last group stage match, but that's about all I am aware of.
