fucking USB rechargeable by this point?
Not even now but slowly starting like maybe 5 years ago.

I'm sick of them forcing their proprietary charging devices on us.

Many high end tactical flashlights have been USB rechargeable for a few years. It seems relatively easy and very convenient.

I think we really do need a full standard on DC power. Much like NEMA for AC power there should be some standards for DC as well. They should have some physical standard plugs for different voltages too like 5v, 12v, 24v, 48v. I know newer USB versions can be different voltages, but that is more complicated to implement and not always available and still kind of finicky and requires software at both ends.

But yeah, at very least, for stuff that runs on 5v they should stop trying to make their own connectors and just use USB. I think you have to pay royalties for that though which might be why they don't do it.

They should charge via handcrank, or have a little solar panel so you can leave it by a window and trickle charge all day

When it comes to USB stuff, why is micro-USB even still a thing? USB-C should be more prevalent outside of phones and powerbanks. At least my true wireless buds are USB-C but that's about it.

Since I am a commie liberal, for decades I have thought there should be a charger standard as in a few different sizes but not a ridiculous amount, like 3-5 industry standard designs. All small electronics should be required to use one of those chargers. Far too much confusion and general waste regarding charging.
Since I’m on a rant, I also want a law passed that every car sold in the US beginning whenever makes sense has headlights, turn signals, break lights that can easily be changed without tools and ideally being able to do it in low light.
I also want all cars to take the full f-ing gallon of washer fluid, so irritating and wasteful to throw out the last 1/4 or 1/3 of the container.

I would imagine windshield washer fluid capacity is sized as large as it can be after designing and building the engine bay and engine. I try to save the last quarter to half of the fluid and leave it in my trunk in case I run out.

Yeah I do the same, still irritates me because I doubt many people do that.

There are USB to shaver cables. I doubt that I'd ever want to try one (no reason for me and who knows if it will ruin the charger/shaver). Example:

I'd actually rather just have a USB port on my shaver base to charge my phone. Plugging my shaver base into a USB port just doesn't seem to have any benefit as the 120V wall outlet is right there. My travel shaver lasts about 20 to 25 shaves on a charge, so it isn't like USB port for travel would do much good either.

I also want all cars to take the full f-ing gallon of washer fluid, so irritating and wasteful to throw out the last 1/4 or 1/3 of the container.
Since I have a garage I've never once thought about that. I buy the gallon. I stick the gallon onto my shelf until I need it months later. Pour out what I need into the car. Put the partly empty gallon back on the shelf for next time. Pour out again. Repeat as needed.

Electric shavers will rip your face off and spit it out like bloody pasta. Fear them.
