Does anyone else see that the title "lifer" is derogratory?

I'd hate that title.

After LOB, and now this handle, wouldn't quite be there..... Yet.

I would hate that under my name.

I know, I know, ATOT isn't a big deal.

It is in the sense of posting here and being among the people we know from here.



I move to remove this term... "Lifer"


Anyone else?

I´m with you, "lifer" is like... not a good title name, we have all this Diamond Member and whatnot so we need something like that for people with over 10000 posts.

would be nice though that everyone in the top 20 over post counts and are not elite members get "AT is my life" title :)

Anyone have any idea of what could be instead of "lifer" ?

I think it's weird that there's nothing between 2000 and 10,000 posts...it's like there's nothing to shoot for except Lifer for me

If you can get a quorum of Lifers on your side then maybe (MAYBE) you might almost have a point. In the mean time, keep pissing into the wind.

I think "Lifer" is meant to be derogatory. I wouldn't be proud of 10,000 posts either...;)

Maybe renamed to "Neffer Extrordinaire"?

yesh.. i concur.. self titling is neato...at a certain point on sharkyforums you got to create your own icon :D now THAT woudl rock.. but i doubt would ever happen
