Syndicate is my all-time favorite PC game

Syndicate Plus was simply a bundle of the original Syndicate and the expansion pack American Revolt.

Syndicate Wars was the sequel, and it was pretty bad, a huge let down!

I have not tried to get it to work in XP, that would be worth it!

BTW, the game is real-time, not turn-based.

Syndicate rocked. Syndicate Wars did not.

Having never played Syndicate, I bought Syndicate Wars because of all the hype on Syndicate. SW was a terrible game. Waste of $50.

Here is some info on Syndicate.

X-Com was one of the best games I have ever played. Too bad all the sequels pretty much sucked.

Yeah..X-Com rocked. The sequels were pretty much the same thing as the original. They put alot of thought into X-Com with the research, weapons development, etc...

All excellent old-school games!

Jeez I must be really old. Those are stil pretty contemporary to me. Old school is like MULE, Ultima, Zork, Wizardry, Karateka, etc.

Fallout was great though a bit short. Too bad I didn't have time to try different things and find some of the hidden stuff in it. X-Com Terror from the Deep was like a super extended version of X-Com which wasn't particularly better. Plus a lot of stuff in that game didn't make much sense like bullets whizzing through water at the same speed they do on the surface.

Wait, so which one am I thinking of... I played it on the Mac (Power PC time...), 1996-1997 school year... better graphics than the original Syndicate. Was it Syndicate Wars? Or was it some sort of Mac only special edition?
