Does anyone else not care bout New Years?

It's just another day to me

The whole celebrating part seems a bit superficial, superfluous (my word of the day).
What we celebrating? Another year that we didn't kill ourselves...

Only thing that I really do for the New Year is get a new calendar up on my wall...

Well, that was my pessimistic rant of the day...

I like watching the late night shows, but other than that it is stupid. What's next a holiday at the end of each month, then one at the end of each week.

I thought there arlready was a holiday at the end of each week? At least, most people celebrate it in similar ways, getting pissed ass drunk.

We should move New Years to February, that way we have a stat holiday in the month...

Then it's just march that we don't have a stat holiday

I have no plans this year I have no one special to spend it with...and even though I swore off girls for the rest of college, I am feelin a tad down. I'll be fine though. I'll waste time tonight playing video games and maybe watch a movie by myself.

I was even invited out by some friends but I declined (or shall I say made an excuse). Just not in the mood

I didn't know today was New Year's Eve until my gf said it was last night. I stay up after 12 every night anyway, and living next to disney land means fireworks bore me now. I'm just wondering if I'm going to my GF's house tonight. Thing is, her parent's don't know about me yet. :Q

I just had a bad case of food poisoning on saturday (puked 6+ times, couldnt even hold down water) and still getting over the effects. My stomach is still too weak to take any amount of alcohol. I may just make it a stay at home new years

Yea, I don't give a damn about New Year's either. I'm not a drinking kind of guy, so I don't see the point in what all the celebration is about. Usually, I just stay home. For 2000 I went to a party and didn't have a good time. This year, I might be going out with a couple of friends and their friends. That should be alright.

Yep, same here. I guess it's just another reason to drink, like celebrating Cinco de Mayo (WTF is that about???). And since I've never been a drinker... "It's just another day to me "
