I remember some great Q2 battles I had with some other regulars on Heat. The degrees were a great bonus, even when they changed the conversion rate. Is there any other place I can get together with fellow gamers... (been out of the loop playing D2...:)

I used to love heat.net... hey I couldn't complain. Play games, get points, get free stuff. It was really nice.... too bad they only had HL for like 1 week then it got removed. I forgot the reason why though, I used to play Battlezone and Quake II a lot there.

PS: I'm being Off Topic in an Off Topic thread but who the hell rated me 10s when I started bragging about my low rating? BOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!

I never really used Heat.net but I know some people that did. I didn't really get big into the online gaming scene until Half-Life/TFC. I played some Rainbow Six on MPlayer (was that before or after I don't remember) ... And now three/four years later still playing HL and the mods.

I liked heat.net
It had an IPX emulator, so you could play games on the internet real easily even if they were only designed for LAN originaly
