Does anyone else have this problem with their PS2?

Ok, I'll put a disk in. I can hear it spin up then it will click and start the process over. It does this basicly non-stop. If I check the browser it says "Disk Read Error"

I've dusted/cleaned the system. And tried all kinds of disc, nothing works: CD-Rs, normal CDs, DVDs, games, nothin.

If you had this problem and fixed it, please let me know how you did it.

Your not alone. This is a well known issue for ps2. If its under warranty you'll need to get it repaired. If it's not you'll probably have to get a new one.

Confirmed. PS2s are suck for dying lasers. Get it fixed. Now.

Edit2 - From what I see, that link above only covers cleaning the laser/lens, not the angle/power adjustment. If the above doesn't work, I'll dig up the hardcore hardware hacking hyperlink.
