He then proceeded to yell extremely loud "GO LONDON(my son's name)..YEAH!". UGHHH I am glad I was at work.

Awesome! I would have died laughing!

I am going to embarrass my children as much as possible. It's the easiest way to get back at them for all of the trouble that they will put me through.

WTF names their son London?

I have seen/read quite a few folks name their child that... and its better than most of these...

anyways, my parents are not that bad... my mom is a bit... niaeve to say the least, but what is bad are my grandmother and her two sisters. They are old POlish ladies that will talk about people they are standing next to in broken Polish/Slovak. Its bad and very embarassing. They feel they can do whatever they want in public because they are a cerain age or don't realize other people see what they do and say.

LOL, I'm going to name my sons Blaze, Gunnar, and Talon.

HAHAH!!! My husband and I were joking about the horrible names on that website... We liked Thor, Vlad and Blaze too ;) I mean come on.... you are dooming the child to a life of porn or crime with those names!

You are so damn lucky to have parents that embarrass you. You don't really appreciate something (or someone) until they are gone. Mine are gone. Do you still think you've got it so bad?

Yes, my father is embarrassing to take anywhere. I swear, the ma just doesn't know how to act in public. Going out to dinner with him is risky. You would think he's never been to a restaurant before. His table manners are horrible. Introducing him to other people is also embarrassing because he lacks essential social skills. It seems his idea of meeting new people involves making corny jokes that no one gets. Also, the man has no shame. He will do whatever it takes to save a buck.

IMHO, it's better to remember funny anecdotes about their quirks rather than mourn them.

That's when I would say: "Hey Grandma, SHUT UP."
I do it to my Grandma because she knows she rambles about people and people can hear it.

They are bizaare that way and are kind of sensitive so i just nicely tell them other people can hear them and they usually shut up. They don't think anyone else can hear them so it freaks them out when i say i CAN hear them. Like i said, its who they are, i love them and i accept them. I am going to write a book about them once they all pass aaway though. The stories i have with them are better than fiction!

Actually those sound kinda like awesome superhero mercenary names.

As long as you give birth into nuclear waste/mutated spider DNA/cosmic rays, that is.
