no, not really. i'm not an american idol fan at all. i just see his picture online and i'm like "GAH! yikes... what a creepy/strange looking person..." and then i see his odd-looking self on some lame commercial singing about some product...

for some reason, he's just abnormally unpleasant/ugly to look at...
