when black people call white people crackers, honkeys, etc? It makes me upset at the hypocrisy that is displayed.
 
Well, the hypocisy part is stupid, but the matter is really trivial. I say if you don't like it, leave/change the channel/go to bed/hang up.
 
Doesnt bother me. I'm verey un-racist, but I still refer to some people by "racial slurs." I dont mean anything by it, and I dont take it anyway when someone used a racial slur against my group.

Me and my friends use racial slurs against each other all the time (my arab friend calls me a cracker and I call him a terrorist), but only as a joke.
 
Yeah, I don't think it's right either.....I have a friend, 28, who's very traditionally Chinese (moved here), and he referred to his friends as "honkies" once, and I laughed my ass off...I don't know if he was joking, but I did make a point to question his choice of words.

I really don't care at all. What does bother me is if they use words like that but are offended when someone else uses a racial slur against them.
 
Yes it does offend me. Why should they be allowed to use racial slurs about us when we cannot use racial slurs about them. Not that I am a racist but give me a break... I don't mind the crackers thing when it is a friend of mine and we are joking around but if I don't know the person it pisses me off. I hate the stupid double standards that we seem to see so many of these days.

No one says one or the other is "allowed" to use the racial slurs.
It's just that a black person will be MUCH more likely to come kick someone's butt if called a n***** than if some white dude was called "cracker" or "honkey"
