Does anyone else get IE shortcuts on their desktop??

I get the same four everyday and they're soo annoying.

I've run Ad Aware to remove any spyware I have but that doesn't help. I would run AdWatch, which does help but I think whenever it detects a wrong doing it just closes Opera..

What four does it keep putting there? Where do the shortcuts lead? You mean four shortcuts that each open IE? Do they open IE to your homepage or some other random page on the net?

They're spam basically, but instead of in my inbox it's on my desktop. One was labeled "Iraqi playing cards". Another being a Casino website. I've never clicked on any of them, I just keep deleting them.

Check your add/remove programs for any funny sounding programs, I've seen one recently which was installed as part of an *ahem* patch to an exe, installed links, new toolbar in explorer etc.
