Yeah, it's one of the more interesting things that happens at work. We never spill any though.

LOL. I actually do. We have one that punches the hole when you put it in, so it doesn't spill. Its heavy, but I always do it and for some reason enjoy it. Its cool to watch the bubbles and it makes me feel useful. No one else will do it because they're either women and think its to heavy or they "have a bad back" (read as lazy)

There's like 4 guys in my office and 20 females (old ones). I'm the official waterboy of the company.

You'd hafta be pretty retarded not to realize that there are different types of water coolers.

The seal breaker/no spill bottles are a new thing. Old coolers it was a real test of skill since you had to do it really fast to avoid spilling.

I enjoy it because it breaks up the day and gives me an opportunity to flex my humongous guns for the ladies.

I don't mind, but I usually am the one who changes it. Its about the most lifting I get to do as an IT guy, unless a shipment of computers or servers comes in.

I have seen several different ones, but never without that safety seal... How do they; keep it from spilling in transport, keep it clean, and the obvious, keep it IN the fountian when switching out.

I guess without the seal the answer is obvious... they don't. :)

Actually, just have someone tilt the cooler unit and you can put it right in without spilling any. Then just tilt it back up-right.

I don't think I could count on any of the people at my work to help me. They might throw out their back or their wussy girl hands would break off if they had to lift anything heavier than a pencil.

My boss needed two maybe 25 pound boxes of paper moved 15ft into a closet the other day. He tasked me and the skinny 5' filing intern girl to put them away. My boss probably outweighs me by 50 pounds.
