Does anyone else find this horribly ironic?

I saw an ad on TV tonight for some new movie, dont even recall what it was, but it had Alec Baldwin playing yet another heroic military guy.

Now for Alec Baldwin, a man who is so left wing, that I would not hesitate to believe that he would be in favor of dismantling the whole United States military to continue to play these strong willed high ranking military men is horribly ironic.

It really makes me wonder if he really believes the crap he spouts, or if it is all about the money.

Oh, excellent point. I'm curious when he's going to finally carry through with his promise and leave the country. Bush has been in office for a while now and he's still hanging around.

I think deep down in Alec Baldwin, it's about the money. $$. But on the surface of his concious mind, he feels guilty that he's a sellout and that makes him a "limousine liberal".

He's an actor, he's in it for the money. I wouldn't doubt that his statements about leaving the country were thought up by his publicist to get him attention.

You guys mean like how Stallone was a draft dodger and made Rambo to "make-up" for it?

Shrug, people will do anything to get positive publicity. Some conservatives even go as far as being nice to wellfare people or pretending to care about the environment once in a while.

Moronic is more like it. I say we get Adam Baldwin to kick his ass.

Maybe we'll all get lucky and someone will load a prop gun with real bullets (flashback to Brandon Lee.)

That's sort of like saying a liberal will go as far as actually get a real job and contribute to society...as well as being able to collect a government subsidy that they can actually spell right...:Q

I really really dislike Alec Baldwin. When he does something to piss me off, I think about the movie 'The Shadow' and laugh at him.
