does anyone else find the wording in surveys strangely relaxing?

now thinking back on the last survey you took, how did it make you feel?

i love filling out surveys because the wording they use is oddly calming.

"thinking back to the restaurants you've eaten at in the past month"

"now think about how you make decisions about your finances"

"which of the qualities in this list are most important to you in the next 1-2 years?"

so good. these things make me feel like what i think is important.

I despise surveys. They're usually setup as 'choose option A or B', when the reality is much more complex and nuanced, and neither A nor B are correct.

i tell you what i really love is the eye exam where she has me choose which is clearer between A and B

then she adjusts the lenses and says "now splitting hairs between C and D, which is clearer?"

i could do that all day

What if 2020 turns out to be the good year of this decade?
I was just about to say that 2021 will be renamed as 2020 Part 2: The Return of COVID, or the gift that keeps on giving through mutation.

Now, if I could only dig up Kubrick to direct it into a movie.

I'm part of this covid study and been having to fill out this huge survey every couple weeks with questions with that sort of wording. I hope it's going to be over soon as it's kinda long and repetitious, but I don't want to quit now that I already did it a bunch of times, there's a chance of a cash prize. :p I'm pretty sure it's legit, it's from a medical school. Figure it can't hurt lol.

That's honestly my fear. This might be the beginning of a new world order and mass globalism, never let a good disaster go to waste. Agenda 2030, great reset etc...

Been trying to find some off grid land in hopes that if this stuff happens things won't get so bad that they start kicking people off their own land, I figure the less reliant I am on the system the less this stuff will even affect me. If SHTF I'll just bug out and go live there full time and bring my family if they want to come. The issue is they just say the rapture is going to come before things get that bad, but I don't know about that. I'm sure people thought the same during WW1 and WW2.

I totally believe we're in for some civil strife over the next decade with how out of balance income has gotten and possibly environmental factors will start becoming a big deal. At some point there will be wars over resources as climate shifts.

I was thinking something completely different when I read the tread tittle. I thought "How could anyone find reading surveys relaxing? How can you find reading 'Second extension of Marilyn Subdivision part A at section 395 by 872 in plot C at third section B, Continuant to parallel G on Lot A' ect relaxing to read?"

Then I read the post and was like "Oh those types of surveys"........

B) Variety

C) See the Christmas Lights

D) Last Minute Shopping

E) Support Local Restaurants

F) Wave to friends from 6 ft away

G) Hookers & Blow
