Does anyone else besides me think the Pepsi 20 FL OZ bottles taste different from the regular cans?

I <3 cans, and I can't stand the taste in the bottles for some strange reason. It taste different!

It has to do with the taste of the aluminum compared to the taste of plastic.

I like cans better.

The products have different interactions with the packaging. Same reason why beer from a can tastes different than a bottle.

i dont know about pepsi but i know for a fact

that minute made lemonade tastes much better in a 20oz bottle than a can or a 2 liter

cans or 2 liters are way too sour

I guess I like that aluminum taste then because I hate drinking the bottled Pepsi, plus they don't have the can vending machines here. It's all the 20 oz bottles now.

I prefer beverages in this order: glass, cans, plastic bottles.

There is nothing like a cold drink out of a bottle.

Glass bottles own, way to expensive though.

Somehow, the canned soda seems fizzier than in a bottle. I prefer bottles by far.

IMO, the cans have more fizz in them.

it tastes "fizzier" because we have to pump a bit more CO2 into the bottle, because it SLOWLY leaks out through the bottle itself. That is why a can has a much longer shelf life than a bottle of the same product.

I prefer Dr Pepper out of a can. A bottle is better while driving. And from a fountain is my least favorite 'cause the mix is usually screwed up.

Pepsi is "brewed" in different locations, using a different variable at every location, water. Elements in the water affect taste, moreso than the packaging. Packaging is supposed to be "nuetral" but you all can speculate. I like Pepsi, can, bottle, plastic or in a cup with ice. Thats just my "experienced" opinion.:)
