Does anyone develop their photos online?

Just wondering how that works.

I tried the DotPhoto free offer, but the pictures came out kind of weird... like the white parts of a flower picture had a pinkish tint to them...

Anyone know a good place to go to?

I wanted to print out at Dotphoto because they have a good bulk price rate; however, other sites like shutterfly & ofoto actually say that they use kodak or fuji paper. I'm thinking maybe dotphoto is just the generic equivalent.

Anyways, hopefully someone has had a good experience =)

I've also used Shutterfly and Walmart online. BOth work well. We did our Christmas cards through WalMart and they turned out great. My wife has developed things through shutterfly as well and likes them too.

Key is to have the original files from a digital camera and NOT oens that have been resized or anything. Bigger the file, better the quality...

anyone have the tint come out off?

that's the only thing holding me back from using dotphoto again.

i use my printer to just print out color photos on high quality photo paper. i get to keep the pics i want, no need to develop them all. most come out with quality as good as a regular photo. not only that, but digital photos can be photoshopped/chopped, that just depends on how good you are :)

fenix, I am well aware of that. this is for uploading pics you want to get printed. In the long run, it's a lot cheaper.

You should bring your digicam media (or burn to a CD-R) to your local Walmart or CostCo.
