Does anyone buy LCDs from newegg

I would be pretty upset to get one with 7 dead pixels! It looks like Zipzoomfly doesn't have that policy. I just don't get it - newegg seem to get good reviews for service otherwise. I guess they just don't want to get into continual exchanges?

which LCD are you considering to buy? I bought my 20" LCD at DELL and I was also hesitant to buy (afraid of dead pixels). I called about 3 times and asked if i had a dead pixel, could i return it? They said sure, thats not a problem. I bit the bullet and bought it. When it arrived, all 1,920,000 pixels were working =) no dead pixels at all.

Unfortunately I just had to return a Dell 15" LCD since it was attached to a crappy 3000 system with no slot for a video card. The LCD was a beauty - I didn't see any dead pixels and I really liked the look and feel, especially that nicely lit on-off button. But it did seem a little fuzzy, so I wonder if I should get a DVI interface on the next one? Now I'm hemming and hawing between building or buying a Dell 4700 or 8400 since I need the PCIe video slot. I don't think I'll buy an LCD at newegg due to that policy. Zipzoomfly has all kinds of brands I never heard of.
