Well right now I'm mostly playing DoD and a dab of Brood War every now and then. A few months ago I was mostly playing D2X.
It's not as if I totally lose interest in a game, but I feel compelled to play a different genre or title and stick to it for awhile. Then I'll revert back to prior titles. I don't know if this sounds familiar to any of your guys' gaming practices. Just enlighten me? All I know is that the hardcore gamers will stick to a game for years (ex. CS, EQ, or Tribes)
Not before long I'll probably be in a fit of Total Annihilation, Serious Sam, Tribes 2 (well kinda... only because I have friends that are so adamant about me assisting their clan), System Shock II, Deus Ex, Alice, and let's not forget the almighty Unreal Tournament.
Yes yes, I'm not a Quake III Arena player (though I own it and have played it for a short duration)... so go ahead and get your lawsuits started and sue me.
Man, it was so much simpler back then when all I had to worry about playing with was with Legos 😉
