Does anyone actually use 1.25 inch margins?

i can't imagine why MS word defaults to this... everybody i know sets it to 1 inch... i mean are there a class of people out there that actually uses 1.25?

My engineering instructor want 1.25 on the sides, .8 on top, and .7 on the bottom. Weird.

i do on most things unless it specificly says to use 1 i just leave it at MS default ive only ever types liek 2 things that were 1 in

senior paper in HS
and 1 paper in college

i also type in courier new cause its a MLA approved font
