Does anyone actually eat cole slaw?

That crap is just plain nasty. Anyone actually eat it? I look around restaurants where they serve it all the time, and I have NEVER seen anyone eat it. Sometimes its on their plate, just because the meal came with it. Its probably the most wasted prepared food of all time.

It goes really nicely with fries... not as good as a vat full of fat we call gravy but still good.

I love coleslaw. KFC's is pretty good. In fact, I'd call it the standard by which most others are gauged. Many can be too sweet, or they use Miracle Whip, which makes everything taste bad.

I made one last summer with a dressing that was dead simple that I liked, but I didn't record the ratios. Just vinegar and a little sugar, salt & pepper.

I f'ing love a good coleslaw, not all are created equal - but the type people like varies person to person.

Fareway makes amazing coleslaw.

Just remembered that I tried making my own coleslaw a few years back. Bought a jar of coleslaw sauce -- tasted exactly like the fast food varieties I had -- from the supermercado and whatever vegetable it goes with. Came out pretty good.

I love coleslaw. But you gotta make it yourself - the stuff you buy premade always has too much goop.

I've just had the grocery store/fast food slaw and it's...ok. I usually have to add a lot of pepper to it to tone down the sweetness. It's not really my favorite side.

I'm not really a fan of coleslaw on it's own., but I use it as a topping here and there. For example on a bbq pulled pork sandwich or with chicken salad jazzed up with some sriracha or cajun seasonings. I agree with sentiment that it is better to make your own. I liked KFC's coleslaw as a kid, but I haven't had it in well over a decade. I imagine I'd find it to sweet nowadays.

Especially as a topping to a sandwich, it would be too sweet. Most slaws added as toppings are noticeably more acidic than those served as side dishes.

I used to hate it when I was young but now like it quite a bit, very good with pulled pork sandwiches.

That's gotta be the first time I've ever seen him where I didn't hope one of the contestants on the show hit him in the face with a smoking frying pan then stab him repeatedly in the neck with their chef's knife...then I saw...it's his daughter.

If you're eating in the kind of restaurants that serve a little paper cup of cole slaw with every meal it's on you. Eat in real restaurants and try real cole slaw.

Ramsay has made a lot of money perfecting and maintaining that raging asshole image on his reality TV shows. Much like the reality star currently making a mockery of the White House.
