Does anybody see anything wrong here?

If Africa is that naive, then we should just forget about them altogether. They can deal with the problem themselves (<--- not going to happen without western aid.)

Who says its our responsibility to help any country or continent develop?

It seems to me that these leaders have done everything in their power to avoid facing the truth about the AIDS epidemic in their countries and are just looking to point the blame for their own incompetent leadership and avoidance of responsibility and education.

Just me, though.

That article leaves me with mixed feelings. On the other hand, I support aid to Africa. I think we should try to help them. But then again, most nations there seem to be run by group of thugs and criminals who have no intention to help the citizens of their respective nations. And if they aren't criminals, they are idiots, like they seem to be in South- Africa.
