does anybody know the legalities

of asking this forum if there was anybody that i could talk to about being a silent partner in my startup company..... i have alot going but im at a hurdle that calls for resources i dont have... i have the business in an incubator, with a nice presentation.... the incubator is highly credible and selective. i even get huge transferable tax credits from some state program for technology related purchases.
