Question Does anybody know if a Gigabyte a520m s2h is compatible with a 3200g? I have read it boots, but games or 3d tasks, crash the system without a dgpu.

I already have the 3200g, wanted to get this a520 for my parents. I ordered it, but I can still cancel. My dad would play some games sometimes. Would the games crash? I got this mobo because it has 3 display outs, and this helps them. It would be used without a dgpu, at all.
Does anybody have any experience with Gigabyte a520 motherboards and 3rd gen Ryzen APUs?
I know its a very old mobo with a very old CPU, but maybe someone knows.
Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure where you read about the crashing without a dedicated GPU, but that's false. The integrated Radeon graphics work just fine and would be fine for light gaming.

The motherboard fully supports that processor as well. Right from Gigabytes own website:

  • Supports AMD Ryzen™ 5000 Series/ Ryzen™ 5000 G-Series/ Ryzen™ 4000 G-Series and Ryzen™ 3000 and Ryzen™ 3000 G-Series Processors

It was this video, of a different a520 Gigabyte motherboard, after the f10 was out and the guy updated the bios.
