does anybody know how to remove the banners in ICQ2002 latest build??

i downloaded this 'banner remover' and it only removed the top banner from the mainscreen... what aboot the huge ones from mesages?

Sorry this doesn't answer your question....

But have you tried Trillian? It has no banners, and works quite well as an ICQ replacement. I particularly like the Secure communications feature. Although I don't believe ICQ chat is available in Trillian.

Just a thought... sorry if this post wasn't of any use to you.

To be honest I don't use ICQ Chat... i have a question about trillian, though.
Does it check email in realtime like MSN Messenger does? That's the only reason why I run MSN and if I could ditch it in favour of Trillian I'd be very happy!

I haven't played with the MSN side of it much, but it will pop up a little notification when you get mail, and tell you what the title of the email is.

I dont like trillian either i just use an old build, been using the same one for a long while now i can send it to you if you would like. I have a banner remover for this version that i have.

ok,
it couldnt open my icq2002 contact list... it wasn't checking my MSN emails in realtime and navigation within the program is somewhat confusing... i actually prefer to have MSN, AIM and ICQ all open at the same time...
