Does anybody know how I can pre-order the new Zelda game for Gamecube?

So I need to make sure I get a copy of the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on gamecube for my sister's birthday on december 20th, and it appears that newegg has it for preorder. How does that whole process work? I pay them now, and they ship it out as soon as they have it in stock? If anyone's done this before, especially with newegg, it would be of great help.
