Are these decent monitors? They get great reviews on Newegg, but the only thing that leaves me skeptical is the fact that I can't find any feedback about them anywhere.

Sorry, not really. I haven't seen any user reviews either.

With deals like this though, I wouldn't bother with off-brands.

That Benq model (supposedly) has lower overall viewing angles, but does that make any real-world difference?

They are actually just rated more realistically. The BenQ uses the same underlying technology (TN), at least similar enough to have the same viewing angles. The FP93GX has a great/solid reputation though.

Never seen one. The reviews over the last month or two are pretty bad at NewEgg, though. I agree with xtKnight - you can get a good name like a ViewSonic or BenQ (or even Sceptre) at a good price.
