A frined of mine has this combo and from what I've read the AGP is his problem. his locks up frequently. He's tried a ViperII 32MB and an older ATI 8MB. What kind of video card are you running?

those cards ARE the problem (viper II is the worst!). any geforce, voodoo3 series, matrox G400 will work at 133fsb/89mhz agp.
 
I tried my Asus V7700 Pure @ 115MHz,(AGP divider 1/1) to see if it was holding me back. It wasn't. I ran 3DMark and UT with no problems at that speed.
After getting better cooling for my CPU, I ran at 126MHz FSB on my P3 800E with the AGP back @ 2/3's.
