does anybody else like these bands?

in my circle of friends, it seems like i'm the only one who likes these bands, so i just wanted to see if any of you did. here goes:


allister
five and dime
unsung zeros
fat cactus (defunct)
boy kicks girl (defunct)
punchline
nothing to lose
home grown
sloppy meateaters

i like more, but these are the most obscure.

mostly pop punk and i think a lot of them are from socal.

I just saw homegrown live, they were ok.

Are these independent bands, like Badly Drawn Boy?

Never heard of any of them which is a good thing especially in the boy kicks girl case.

some of them are, some of them signed with small labels. allister and homegrown are on drive thru records which is produced by mca.

Not bad, good live show.
