does any1 have the Ideq 200 Remote?

Hay all, well I just found out that my band new Ideq 200V has an Infra-red receiver in it!
Did any got the remote, and can share what components does it include?
Does Lirc support it?
How is it on windows?

Say a "freind" of my changed the SPD memory setting, and decided to test the new settings by runing the computer as useally, what damage may I got over a week of useage?

From what I've read, the remote only works with the Multimedia OS/Applications that come with the Ideq.
