does any video card support DVI-D?

I've got a Radeon 8500 64MB DDR and I'm trying to get it to work with a SUN 24.1" LCD. It works fine with an analog connection but it doesn't want to work with the DVI-D connection. Since the LCD runs 1900x1200 at native resolution, I think it exceeds the capabilities of the DVI connection on my Radeon card. Does anyone know if there is a card out there that supports DVI-D outputs?

What you need is DVI-D (the digital kind), any VGA card with a DVI plug has that (often the cards have DVI-I, which is DVI-D plus the analog signal needed by the DVI-to-VGA dongles).

For the large panels you particularly need a dual channel implementation of DVI-D. Technically, Matrox Parhelia cards have the prerequisites, you might check with them.

What does the display's manual say about the DVI input properties?
