Im trying to build a media center, and i thought a 1.2 ghz chip would do it, but now im told the via 1.2 is more like 1.0 and that it simply wont do 1080p HD decode. Is there an ITX board and chip that can do 1080p? if not, a cheap board and chip with PCI-e?

Very nice. Very helpful. thanks!
Oh, and incidentally, this thing has to fit in a very small appliance. So, while im not sure the micro-ATX is a small enough form, it does give me a few new ideas for future projects. Thanks.

mATX is easily as small as most of today's mainstream audio receivers.

That is true, but mobility is still a premium for me. think Nintendo Wii or even NES sized appliance and youll see what kind of toss and tote size im after. ....hmmm... if only nintendo built the thing to do 1080p, i would be all set.
