Does any of the new Athlon XPs have hyperthreading?

Hyperthreading is currently exclusive to Intel processors.

Under certain conditions, HT can bring a significant performance advantage.

hyperthreading doesnt do squat. look at benchmarks. amd will not have HT

Maybe I am wrong here but I don't think hyperthreading was intended to increase speed. I think it is mainly for having multi-tasking run a lot smoother, so you can run more apps at once on your system.

I did notice the 30% increase in 3dsmax.

Anyway, Hyperthreading is Intel's marketing name. SMT, multithreading on a single chip, is an open design and can be implemented at any time by AMD if they wish. They aren't planning on it soon, but if multithreading catches on, they're going in that direction, said so themselves. And as I recall, the Alpha design team originally put SMT on the EV7 (maybe it was EV8?) design.
