This is an odd question. But I thought maybe someone might know of a place that will do this.
I've got a PCI computer card (36 pin male) which I need to connect to an electronic board (37 pin male). The company who manufactures these refuses to make a simple cable to connect them. Instead you need to buy multiple cables and converters. So to connect them I need to buy all of these:
1) A cable that has two female 36 pin connectors - price $50 for a two foot length (prices go up from there for longer).
2) A circuit board that has a 36 pin male and 50 pin male connectors - price $100.
3) A cable that has a 50 pin female connection and a 37 pin male connection - price $50.
4) A cable that has two female 37 pin connectors - price $50.
So basically I just need a cable with a 36 pin and 37 pin female connections (maybe a few wires need to be twisted along the way). If I can custom build a cable for less than $250, it would save me money and space (all these extra circuit boards are bulky).
This will be a small order, but the company would need the capability of a large order if my work is a success.
