Does animal control deal with dead animals?

there's a dead possum on the sidewalk that i walk on to get home.... it's been there for about a week now, is starting to stink a little, and has a ton of flies around it. who do i call to get this removed? or should i just kick it into the street....
 
Animal control here in CA won't touch a dead animal with a ten foot pole.
They will, however, pick it up and dispose of it properly if you bag it for them.

Actually that's only on private property. Animal control SHOULD dispose of it if you tell them where it is.
 
just kick it or put it in a bag and in the trash or something..

or are you too big of a pussy to touch it?😉

(gloves are allowed, btw 😛)
