Warning, the KM266's integrated video SUCKS at gaming, even when paired with DDR RAM, worse still when using SDRAM.
You want to use the SiS 740 chipset, as found on ECS K7SOM and L7SOM. One of those has SDR and DDR RAM slots.

The SIS 740 chipset boards have no agp slot for future upgrades.Originally posted by: Peter

That is true.Originally posted by: Peter
Right, SiS 740 chipset doesn't offer an AGP bus ... but its integrated graphics unit has usable 3D performance to live with, something you really can't say of the VIA chipsets.
It all depends on what is meant by "gaming". I have a KM133A board and the integrated Super Savage does older games like Tomb Raider II/III, Diablo II LOD, Earthworm Jim 3D, Duke Nukem, 3D Ultra Pinball, Chessmaster, The Sims and just about any kind of children's edutainment title just fine. 3D quality is on par with the Rage128 Pro boards but is slightly slower, and that is with a 900MHz Duron and 128MB SDRAM. Given a XP1700+ and 512MB it might exceed Rage128 Pro performance.Right, SiS 740 chipset doesn't offer an AGP bus ... but its integrated graphics unit has usable 3D performance to live with, something you really can't say of the VIA chipsets.
