Does America's Tires rotate them for free?

I read somewhere that they do this for anyone, even if you're not a customer? Has anyone tried this?

If you can get the rep to think you've purchased tires from them before, they'll rotate them for free... Same can be said if you get a flat and want it repaired.

Discount just did mine Wednesday, I bought them there 1 year ago. They also re-balanced them and cleaned and applied tire-shine as well. My last set from them I ran over a nail and they fixed that for free and I didn't even buy the road hazard warranty, they are the only place I do business with now and for the future as well, lot's of companies talk about customer service, Discount backs it up IMO..

Just drive the car, your tires will rotate.

Places that do this generally are looking to drum up repair work on your car. A tire rotation will lead them to check your brakes, struts, front end parts, mechanical repairs, etc.

Bicycle shops also do the same thing. Free lifetime adjustments on a bike you purchased there, and when its in their possession they might recommend services to be done.

Except the company in question doesn't do repairs. They only do tires. They don't even do alignments.

Except in (Southern?) California, where the similarly named Discount Tire Centers is a different company. Seems to be mainly America's Tire around me.
