Does amazon guarantee an order if placed through their website?

Anybody ever heard of them or know if Amazon will stand behind them since its liked through their site?
 
I've ordered through several 3rd party retailers through Amazon with no problems, though never eek technology.

there is nothing on them through resellers... if Amazon has some type of policy ensuring those that use their site...
