Does Amazon.com offer 30 day price guarantee?

I know they offer a 30 day guarantee for returns, but I wanted to know if they drop the price of something they're selling within 30 days, if I can get the difference in credit without having to send the item back and re-purchase it at the new price.

Purchased a Linksys BEFSR41 Router for $99.95 on 9/8/01

Now, they are selling the exact same router for $79.99

Has anyone done this?

Or you could call and ask them yourself 1-800-201-7575 they're very good about hiding their customer service phone number.

I have to agree that Amazon's CS policies are very good. I once bought a couple of books one day and the next week, they were selling the books with free shipping. I got back some $7 (hey, it's $7!) for that. I don't know how long you have to claim a price or shipping cost drop, but I would think two weeks is a reasonable guess.
